TUNON-OAB is a non-invasive tibial nerve stimulation system for patients with overactive bladder (OAB). For overactive bladder accompanied by urinary urgency, frequency and nocturia, it delivers guideline-recommended tibial nerve stimulation therapy through the skin, without needle insertion or surgery. Using n-Phase Temporal Interference stimulation, it precisely stimulates the deep-lying tibial nerve without penetrating the skin, so that a therapy once performed in the clinic can be continued at home.
※ The TUNON-OAB system is built on the following three core technologies.
  • [Non-invasive Deep Stimulation] A technology that delivers stimulation from the skin surface to the deep-lying tibial nerve without needle insertion, using three or more current sources with mathematical correction.
  • [Precise Focus Targeting] A technology that steers and moves the focus of stimulation precisely onto the target nerve by adjusting the amplitude and phase of each current.
  • [Minimized Off-target Stimulation] A technology that cancels the summed current between multi-phase electrodes, reducing unnecessary stimulation of the skin surface and surrounding tissue and concentrating stimulation on the target.
